In 1994, John “Jack” Love, started Bethel Mill Contracting, a company based in South Jersey with an emphasis on tree care. Through the years, Jack and his wife Margie Love ran the locally owned and operated family business as a team. In 2015, Jack passed away and his widow Margie became CEO. She continues the company’s expert workmanship and high customer satisfaction that has become a hallmark of Bethel Mill Contracting.  This small hometown company services the tri-county area performing total tree care: tree removal, pruning, trimming, stump grinding and fall clean up. Additional services include: 24-hour emergency service, fall and spring clean-up, snow removal, even seasoned oak and cherry firewood.

Why the Cardinal?

You will see a cardinal on some of our literature, throughout the website, even on our trucks and clothing at times. Now and again, people ask “Why the cardinal?” There are many beautiful poems and a simple saying “when a cardinal appears, an angel is near”, that reference the cardinal and its presence upon the passing of a loved one. We honor Jack, our love for him and his vision for this company as we place cardinals in our messaging. We see them when we are out servicing our customers and it fills our hearts to feel Jack’s presence when we do.
